Privacy Policy

Data we collect

One Good Thing is designed to be simple and private. The app does not collect personal information. Your entries are stored locally on your device and, if you turn on backup, synced to your own personal cloud account — iCloud on iPhone, or Google Drive on Android.

How your data is used

We do not use your data for analytics, advertising, or tracking. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties.

Cloud backup

If you turn on backup, your entries are saved to your own personal cloud account so they stay with you on a new device — iCloud on iPhone, or Google Drive on Android. On Android the backup is a single file kept in your own Google Drive, created only with your permission and used solely to store your entries. This backup lives in your own cloud storage under Apple's or Google's terms — we never see it, and we have no servers of our own. You can turn backup off at any time in the app's settings.

Security

Your entries are protected by your device's built-in security and storage systems.

Your control

You can delete the app at any time to remove your data from your device. To also remove an iCloud backup, delete the app's data in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. To remove a Google Drive backup, delete the app's entries file from your Google Drive, or revoke its access at myaccount.google.com under Security → Third-party access.

Third-party services

The app relies on platform services (such as Apple or Google), which operate under their own privacy terms.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
